The transportation industry is competitive and we strive to retain a strong market share. We are not willing to compromise on safety, training and fairness to employees to compete with other companies that may not have the same standards. In other words, we do not feel it is fair to pay a driver minimum wage to carry the most precious cargo (people) in very difficult traffic conditions (Silicon Valley/Bay Area) for the sake of getting new business, or that the driver is preoccupied because he/she lacks medical insurance.
